Designer Tip: By embossing 3 pieces of different colored suede paper and using sections from each color, you can easily make 3 cards and use up your embossed suede, simply by mixing the suede panels in different orders.
Instructions:
- Emboss 6” squares of each color of suede. Cut each into 1 7/8” wide strips, first cutting one strip and aligning the pattern with the second color before cutting into 1 7/8”. Repeat for the 3rd strip. After aligning the patterns cut each strip to 4 3/4” long.
- Cut the card to 5 3/4” x5” and place the fold at the top. Glue the suede strips across the card center. Place lengths of lacy Dazzles™ borders across the card bottom, with straight sides together and 3/8” from the card bottom edge. Glue a length 1/8” wide lavender grosgrain ribbon over the seam between border stickers. Zot™ a bow to the right side of the border.
- Place “happy thoughts” above the bow and 3 tiny butterfly Dazzles™. Back a large butterfly Dazzles™ with Powder Blue Suede and foam tape to the top left corner.
- Inside: Glue a 5 3/4”x1” piece of Azalea Suede across the bottom edge of card inside back. Glue a 5 3/4” x 1/4” length of powder blue suede across the top. Back a small butterfly Dazzles™ with Turquoise suede and glue to the left side of the border.
