Designer’s Tip: Use a light pouncing motion with the cosmetic wedge to apply ink through the cardstock stencil for this super easy-to-make card. Make the trees in the background lighter than the tree in the foreground for the most striking image.
Instructions:
- Card front: Score a vertical line down the center of 10”x6½” black cardstock, valley fold along the scored line and place the fold on your left.
- Die cut a tree from 4”x6” white cardstock, saving the tree die-cut for the inside of your card. Place the cardstock with the cut-out of the tree on the left side of 4½”x5¼” white cardstock and sponge black ink through the opening with a cosmetic wedge. Move and sponge ink two more times to make a tree cluster on the left, as shown. Glue the inked white cardstock centered along the fold of your card.
- Place black “Keeping you in my heart” Dazzles™ at the lower right corner of the white cardstock. Wrap two lengths of white and black twine around your card front along the fold, tying in a bow at the top.
- Card inside: Die cut another tree from white cardstock and glue them at the lower left corner as shown, allowing one tree to go off the bottom edge, then trimming even with the edge. Place “Sincere Sympathy” Dazzles™ at the upper right as shown.
