|Jewel Tone Butterfly
By Gail Booth
Instructions: Place the butterfly on your craft sheet and clean the surface with rubbing alcohol and a paper towel. Place scrap acetate pieces between the two wing layers, to keep the back layer from being inked. Pour a little of the blending solution into the spritzer. Squeeze a few drops of Eggplant alcohol ink onto a cosmetic wedge and pounce onto the outer edges of the butterfly. Use Cranberry for the center of the wings and body. Use pool over the body again, and a little outwards. Spritz over all lightly with the blending solution to get a mottled effect. Let dry, then remove the acetate. Lightly sand the wing edges to get a silver lining. Place baby bling as shown and thread ribbon through the back hanger, then tie with twine.
