|Classic Husband Card
By Gail Booth
Instructions: Place a blank card with the fold on your left and cover with black crocodile paper. Make a small slit at the fold, 2 ¼” from the top edge, and thread three lengths of white twine through and around the card front, tying in a knot on the left. Spritz two 4 ¼”x4” white cardstocks with water and “poof” some of each Color Burst powder on the right side, using Yellow Ochre predominantly. Spritz with more water until you achieve the desired effect, then let dry. Cut 1” from the top of one piece, turn with the more colored side on the left and mat three sides on red suede, as shown. Stamp a gear, two wrenches and “To a Classic Husband”, as shown. Glue even with the fold, as shown. For the large piece, stamp the map at an angle on opposite corners and stamp the newer car on the center. Mat three sides on red suede and glue even with the right edge, as shown. Inside: Cut the other Color Burst cardstock to 3 ½”x2 ¼” and stamp as shown. Mat on suede, tie a double length of twine around the left side and glue as shown.
