Let Your Heart Soar Card

Designer's Tip: The gold pearl Feathers Dazzles™ look great when colored in with Spectrum Noir markers—it adds contrast to the focal.

Instructions:

  1. For the Front: Use the paper patterns from the package insert to cut the exact shapes to fit your card. To do this, cut out the patterns, trace them with pencil on your chosen paper, then cut out and glue to their corresponding blank panels. Place the flat die cut card vertically. Fold the die cut card by making a valley fold on the topmost score line, and a mountain fold on the next score line; repeat all the way down. When gluing on your paper, use feathers border for the front and pink/purple feathers for the sides. Use pink for the inside.
  2. Glue blue crepe ribbon across the top, 1/4" from the top. Trim to fit and attach with Zips™. Place "Let your heart" on the ribbon as shown. Place the large feather, small heart, and two side flourishes (forming the bottom heart) as shown. Color in the Dazzles™ with Spectrum Noir pen TB6. Cut a dark blue swirl rectangle to 3/4" x 1 1/2" and trim off the corners. Mat on pink with a 1/16" border. Wrap a piece of blue crepe ribbon around the piece, taping the ends to the back. Place "Soar" on the piece and foam tape it to the lower right as shown.
  3. Inside: Cover the top section with green pattern. Cut a narrow strip of the gold Dazzles™ material and place it across the top as shown. Cover the rest of the inside with pink paper. Place a large feather on the left. Place a smaller feather, hearts, and swirl on the right side as shown. Color in the large feather and heart with TB6. Glue a small blue crepe bow at the base of the heart with Zots™.
