Designer’s Tip: Get a great opaque textured look on the stenciled tree by mixing translucent embossing paste with Kiwi mica powder and Grass Micro Beads. Use translucent embossing paste mixed with Bronze Micro Beads for the trunk (mask off areas with stencil tape).
Instructions:
- Background: Start with the green/brown textured gradient paper as your background with the green on the bottom. Glue 8 1/2"x3" of bright green paper 1" from the top and flush with the left. Glue 8 1/2"x3" of bright green paper 2" from the bottom and flush with the right.
- Photo: Mat a 7"x5" photo on Forest suede paper with a 1/4" border. Mat on green diamond paper with a 1/2" border. Glue centered 2 1/2" from the top.
- Journaling: Print "JUMP right in!" large on 5"x3/4" of bright green paper and cut out. Cut a “V” in the right side and mat on Forest suede paper with a 1/8" border. Glue 3/4" from the top and flush with the left.
- Embellishing: Glue orange stitched grosgrain ribbon across the top and bottom of the card as shown. Glue an orange on the top right as shown. Secure the stencil to the second sheet of Forest suede paper with stencil tape. Mask off the center trunk area. In a cup, mix Translucent Embossing Paste with some Kiwi mica powder and Grass Micro Beads. Scrape over the stencil with a mini squeegee. Carefully remove the stencil tape and lift off stencil. Let dry completely. Repeat process for the trunk, mixing a separate mixture of Translucent Embossing Paste and Bronze Micro Beads. Let dry completely. Cut out and glue to the bottom right of the photo as shown. Add leaves Dazzles to the right and left of the photo as shown.
