Designer’s Tip: Use the suitcase stamp in 2 contrasting ways: as a repeating background strip and embossed in gold as a focal.
Instructions:
- For the front: Place your card with the fold on the left. Cover the front with tan map paper. Glue 5" x 2 1/2" of green chevron paper across the card 1 1/2" from the top. Stamp 3 suitcases across this section with Mint Fluid Chalk ink pad. Glue 5" x 1/4" narrow strips of brown cardstock along the top and bottom of the green chevron strip. Glue 5" x 3/8" strips of Forest suede paper across the top and bottom. Place brass Jewel Border Dazzles™ along the suede strips. Stamp and emboss "Greetings!" on brown cardstock with gold embossing powder. Cut out and mat on Forest suede paper with a 1/16" border. Foam tape to card 1" from the top and 1/2" from the left. Stamp and emboss a suitcase in gold on brown cardstock and cut out, leaving a 1/16" border. Cut a slit in the handle and thread 6" of wide green crepe ribbon through it and tie a knot. Trim ends as desired. Foam tape the suitcase 1/2" from the right and bottom as shown.
- For the inside: Stamp a continuous column of suitcases on the right side in Mint ink. Make a greeting label identical to the front and glue 1/2" from the left and 1/4" from the top.
