Designer Tip: For the layered butterflies, start with the mint ink for the base color, apple green ink for the second color, and celadon ink for the third color. I heat set the ink between layers with a heat gun. To apply the base color, position the 4 1/4"x5 3/4" ivory cardstock on the center of a sheet of white cardstock, and use a Post-It note to anchor it in place. Mark through the 4 tiny holes on the template onto the cardstock or (lightly) onto the ivory paper with the pencil (tip-since we are repeating the same images onto the paper, I also numbered the holes for the butterflies to make it easier to tell which holes were for which butterfly—for example, all the holes for the first butterfly were marked #1, etc.). Ink the first color for both large butterflies, then heat set. Replace the stencil using the second large butterfly image over the first, aligning the holes into position. Apply the second color of ink and heat. Repeat with the third large butterfly image using the third ink. Repeat this process for the remaining butterflies. Ink an additional butterfly on remaining ivory cardstock and cut it out. Foam tape the body over the center butterfly on the card. Use mint ink to color a 2 3/4"x1 1/4" ivory cardstock. Stencil “Hello” on the center with celadon ink. Mat on The Little Things dark blue/aqua dots paper with 1/16” borders. Foam tape on the card as shown. Add Silver Jewel Dazzles™ and ribbon bow as shown. Supplies:
