Serendipitous Birthday Card

Supplies:
- Serendipitous paper pack (link)
- Cardstock: white (link), gray
- Brass Jewel Dazzles™ (link)
- 500 Script Greetings Dazzles™ (link)
- Spectrum Noir Harmony Water-Reactive ink pads: Pine Tree (link), Lagoon (link)
- Craft sheet (link)
- Spritzer bottle (link), water
- Gift card (old), paper towels
- Specialist Acrylic glue (link)
- Foam Tape (link)
- Adhesive
- 5"x6½" white cards & envelopes (link)

Instructions:
- For the card front: Place the card with the fold on the left. Cut 4 ¾"x6 ¼" Serendipitous misty breeze chevron paper and glue it centered on the front.
- Cut 2¼"x5½" white cardstock and place it on the craft sheet. Press the Pine Tree ink pad onto the craft sheet several times, then spritz the ink lightly with water. Tap the long edge of the gift card in the ink. Hold the gift card at an angle while dragging it across the cardstock from one edge inward. Repeat to load the gift card with ink and drag it over the cardstock from all the edges, leaving some areas white.
- Clean the ink off the craft sheet and the gift card. Press Lagoon ink onto the craft sheet and spritz as before. Dip the gift card edge into the ink to load it. This time, instead of dragging the card at an angle, leave it upright so you’re just adding thin lines of ink, criss-crossing over the cardstock. Let the cardstock dry.
- Mat the inked panel on white cardstock with ⅛" borders, then on gray cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue it to the front, ½" from the right edge. Place “hello” Dazzles™ at the lower left as shown.
- Glue a 1½" Serendipitous gear and foam tape a 1¼" and a 1⅛" gear at the lower right as shown. Place the confetti and jewel Dazzles™ on the gears and the inked panel as shown.
- For the inside: Cut 4"x4½" Serendipitous rain storm teal paper and glue it to the inside near the upper right corner. Cut 2¼"x4½" white cardstock and ink it as for the front panel. Mat the panel on white cardstock with 1/16" borders and glue it at the lower left.
- Glue two of the remaining Serendipitous gear die-cuts to the inside and foam tape the third as shown. Place “happy birthday” Dazzles™ across both panels, then place jewel Dazzles™ as shown.
