Thinking of You Card

Designer Tip: When sponging ink through the metal stencils, use a dabbing motion instead of rubbing—this will help prevent the ink from bleeding under the stencil. Also, make sure your ink pad isn’t too loaded with ink, or dab your sponge on a scrap paper first before dabbing onto the stencil image.
Instructions
- Place your card with the fold on the top. Cover the card with flower corner paper with the flower in the bottom left corner, half off the card. Cut 6 1/2”x1/2” of pink/green medallion and mat on brown texture with 1/16” borders on the top and bottom. Glue to card 1/2” from the bottom. Glue a strip of pink sheer ribbon across the card 1/8” above the strip.
- Punch a 1 1/4” circle from white cardstock and ink the edges with a cosmetic sponge using Deep Lagoon. Stamp “Thinking of You” in the center. Mat on pink/green medallion, leaving a 1/8” border. Mat this on brown texture, leaving a 1/16” border. Glue to bottom left of card, 1/4” from the bottom and 1/2” from the left.
- Place the Celtic circle/wreath stencil on the blank area of the card, with the circle 1 1/4” from the right and 1/2” from the top. Dab a clean cosmetic sponge on the Deep Lagoon ink pad and dab onto the stencil over the Celtic wreath. Repeat until the circle is filled in with Deep Lagoon. Clean stencil with soap and water and dry with a paper towel. Use the same technique to stencil two Olive Pastel circles, one on each side of the first as shown. Zot™ a pink crepe bow to the bottom right of the center circle.
- For the inside: Cover the inside with squares paper. Glue 6 1/2”x2 1/2” of brown texture across the card, 1 1/2” from the bottom.
- Stencil a wreath on light green texture using Berrylicious ink. Cut out, leaving a 1/8” border. Glue to card on the brown strip, 3/4” from the left. Stamp a greeting on light green texture and cut out. Glue to brown strip 1” from the right. Zot™ a small green gingham bow to the bottom right of the pink wreath as shown.
