Designer Tip: Colorburst looks amazing over embossing paste. I chose glossy white, so that the colors would resist the dried paste more than the standard white embossing paste.

Instructions:
- Front focal: Center the birch tree stencil over 8”x8” white cardstock on your craft sheet and swipe embossing paste over the open areas. Remove stencil and wash. Let the piece dry. Shake chartreuse color burst powder “poofs” across the center of the stenciled piece. Apply fuchsia across the top left corner and turquoise across the bottom right corner. Spritz with water liberally, then use paper towels to blot across the embossed surface, removing as much color as you can from the embossing, without rubbing. Let dry, then cut to 4 ¾”x4 ¾”, saving the trimmed edges for later. Mat on black cardstock, then white cardstock with 1/16” borders.
- Front: Score a horizontal line across the center of 6 ½”x11” black cardstock and bring the top edge down to the bottom, with the fold at the top. Glue the focal in place on the right. Use VersaMark™ to stamp and emboss “For an Amazing Husband” in black on the saved color burst trimmings (I used the turquoise edges). Use the “Lola” label from the Design Tool Kit to trace around the piece, keeping the greeting at the bottom. Mat on black with a 1/16” border, punch holes at the edges and foam tape as shown, trimming even with the top edge. Tie with ¼” sheer aqua ribbon, as shown.
- Mix a little red glitter embossing powder with black embossing powder and use to stamp and emboss the car on acetate. Cut out the car and Zot™ on, as shown.
- Inside: Apply fuchsia color burst to the bottom left corner of 6”x5” white cardstock, spritz with water and let dry. Stamp and emboss the truck with the mixed embossing powders.
- Stamp and emboss “Thanks for being so Wonderful” in black on the saved color burst trimmings (I used the fuchsia edges, then create a label the same as the card front. Glue along the bottom, trimming even with the edge. Glue the piece centered on your card inside.
