Designer Tip: I mixed Antique Silver Silk Microfine Glitter with Translucent Embossing Paste to create a glittered paper background for my focal (which I stamped on acetate so the glitter would show through). Use a mini squeegee or palette knife to mix glitter with Translucent Embossing Paste until it is a light tan color (I used about 1/8 teaspoon of glitter with about 1 tablespoon of the embossing paste). Spread the mixture thinly across a 6”x3 1/2" Roses & Lace yellow lace paper rectangle, covering the entire piece as evenly as you can. Let dry (this will take a while, at least 2 hours. It is dry when the embossing paste is clear and no longer milky). Stamp the postcard image onto acetate with SurfaceZ ink and cut it out. When the embossing paste/glitter mixture on the paper is dry, glue the edges of the acetate onto the glittered paper and trim around the edges. Use the excess to back butterflies stamped on acetate for the inside. Supplies:
