Designer Tip: Cut two 2¼”x5¾” each of peach, orange and dark pink honeycomb paper, from the Blossom Set. Follow the glue lines, and cut on either side of a glue line. Glue the two same color pieces together. Fold a 12”x1¼” matching cardstock in half, and glue one side. Fold over the other side, and glue. To connect the two sides, glue the cardstock together, and trim even with the honeycomb. Make a layer of each color. Use the Circle template to trace and cut two 4” circle of cardstock. Glue between each layers to stabilize. Use the Circle template to trace and cut an 11½” circle of matching dark pink cardstock. Place Jewel Border Dazzles™ around the outside edge. Trace and cut the smallest rounded medallion on gold honeycomb paper. Glue the ends to make a small honeycomb ball. Glue in the center of the cake top. Glue to the top of the cake. Use a sharp tool to poke holes in the cake top. Cut several straws in half. Glue a left over piece of gold tissue in the top as a flame. Dip the other end in glue, and push through the holes. Place the paper roses around the top of the cake. Wrap a self-adhesive lace around the cake middle. Place a Jewel Border Dazzles™ in the center of the lace. Zot a bow. Trace and cut another 11½” circle, and glue to the bottom of the cake. Supplies:
