Designer Tip: Trace and cut a 4” circle for the “O” in 50, from gold honeycomb paper. Cut a 6” square of gold hammered paper, and fold in half. Glue one side of the honeycomb circle to the gold hammered paper with the straight edge of the “O” in the fold. Trim the gold hammered paper, on the glued side, leaving a ¼” border. Now fold the gold hammered paper and glue the “O” to the other side. Finish trimming the gold hammered paper even with the first side. Glue into the covered card, gluing one side first, and then folding the card, and gluing the other side. Print a 300 pt Arial Black “5” on computer paper. Use as a pattern to cut a “5” from gold hammered paper. Cut a 5”x1/2” gold hammered paper. Fold in half, and then in half again so you have 4 sections. Glue on section at the fold on the card bottom, with the end even with the fold. Glue the top section at the fold to the card inside front, so the ends meet at the fold. You will now have two sections coming out from the fold, and will form a box. Glue the “5” to the front section of the pop out box. This will make it pop out from the fold. Supplies:
