Supplies:
Instructions: Place the card fold on the left and cover with black cardstock. Glue 4 ¾”x6 ¼” green dot Sweet Life paper to the center. Emboss the Wood Texture onto brown cardstock and trim the edges along with the wood grain curve and rub with surface of black ink pad. Make a small hole in the center and make triangle shaped tears to form an oval hole. Ink torn edges with ink pad. Glue the matted wood piece to the card front and use Zots™ to anchor some of the torn pieces to the card front. Die cut the bird and 2 wings from white cardstock and stamp with bird/wings images. Outline bird and wings with GB3 dark yellow and color in with GB1 light yellow. Color beak and feet with CR1 orange. Color cheeks and tummy with CF2 peach. Glue the wing ends to the back of the bird body and foam tape to the hole in the “tree”. Zot™ a Smartie candy on the right side of the bird body and Zot™ the wings in place, as shown. Hold together lengths of orange and dark pink Bakers Twine and make a bow. Zot™ to the card as shown. Write or print text on light blue strips of paper and ink edges. Glue to the card as shown. Inside: When stamping the bird image, mask the words on the tummy. Font: Birdlegs 18 pt |
