Designer's Tip: When die cutting a window in a card, I make sure the papers on the front have plenty of adhesive behind them so there’s no gap between the paper and card base along the edges of the window. For this project, I trimmed the card to 6" wide to fit through the Big Shot die cutter; however, if you have a die cutter that will accommodate wider papers, feel free to adjust the directions to fit the full-size card.

Instructions:
- For the card front: Turn the card with the fold at the top and trim to 6"x5". Cut 5⅞"x4⅞" Winter’s Garden brown floral paper and 5⅞"x3¼" red Xs paper. Glue the red paper across the floral paper, then glue the floral paper centered on the card front, using lots of adhesive on both.
- Place the 5⅛"x2⅞" label die centered on the card front and secure with removable tape. Open the card and follow the die cutter manufacturer’s directions to die cut the label from the front. Die cut four corner swirls from the red Sparkle Sheet, then remove the backing on each and place on the corners of the red paper.
- Place Border Dazzles™ along the upper and lower edges of the red paper, trimming the excess. Die cut a bird from Winter’s Garden blue paper and one from tan stripes paper. Stamp the matching design on the birds with Scarlet ink, then glue the blue bird and foam tape the tan bird at the window edge as shown.
- Make a 4-loop bow and tie the center with thread. Glue to the window edge at the upper right, then glue the button to the bow center. Make a thread bow and glue to the button.
- For the inside: Cut 6"x3½" Winter’s Garden green holly paper and mat the long edges on Winter’s Garden red holly paper with ⅛" borders. Glue across the inside center. Die cut a 4¼"x2⅜" label from Winter’s Garden red Xs paper then stamp the matching design on it with Scarlet ink.
- Stamp “Merry Christmas” in the red label center with Jet Black, then foam tape to the inside so it’s centered in the window when the card is closed. Place Border Dazzles™ along the edges of the center papers as shown, then place jewel Dazzles™ along the borders and on the label as shown.
