Designer’s Tip: To make the begin the tear at the center of the pink dot paper, first make a small tear at the paper center to get things started in the right direction.
Instructions:
- Tearing the “x” shape in the center of the paper is easy. First tear a Honeysuckle pink/black dots paper to 11½” square and then fold in half, but do not crease, and make a 9” tear centered on the paper. Unfold the paper and place the tear horizontally. Find the center of the tear, measure 1” to the left of center and make a 4” vertical tear on the bottom half and measure 1” to the right and make a 4” vertical tear on the top half of the page. Fold back the flaps, but do not crease and glue the flaps in place, as shown.
- Glue corners of the Honeysuckle pink/black dots paper to the center of a Honeysuckle gray paper as shown, leaving the areas under the folded flaps free of glue.
- Mat a 4”x6” photo with black cardstock, leaving 1/8” borders, and again on Honeysuckle floral paper, leaving 1/4” borders. Foam tape the photo to extend from inside the torn away paper as shown. Mat 3”x4” photo with black cardstock, leaving 1/8” border and glue to the right of the large photo.
- Place self-adhesive pink flowers and Honeysuckle Embellies™ brads as shown. Write or print on the pink Honeysuckle Embellies™ tag and secure the mini brad. Foam tape to the lower right as shown.
- Die cut “Happy” from white cardstock and glue to the top right corner. Foam tape the Honeysuckle Embellies™ bee to the left and secure a brad to the “y” as shown.
