Designer Tip: Using Silky papers makes the metallic paint shine more. Create a metallic background and emboss over it.

• Acrylic Block
• Wink of Luna Metallic Brush Markers – Violet (link), Silver (link), Copper (link), Gold (link)
• Black Cardstock (link)
• VersaMark™ Ink Pad (link)
• Jet Black StazOn® Ink Pad (link)
• Black Super Fine Embossing Powder (link)
• Foam Tape (link)
• Glue Stick (link)
• Heat Gun (link)

Instructions:

1. Front panels: Use StazOn® ink to stamp the two front panel dolls onto 2 ¼”x5 ½” light tan papers, as shown. Mat each on floral paper with ¼” borders, then on black cardstock with 1/16” borders. Glue onto the front panels. Swipe the top of a 3”x2” silky paper with the purple Luna marker and the bottom with the silver marker, then let dry. Stamp “Believe” at the top and bottom with VersaMark™, dust with embossing powder and set with the heat gun. Cut into separate banners, as shown, and foam tape in place. Repeat the process to make four butterflies, cut out each and foam tape two onto the front panels.
2. Inside: Use the die-cut card paper patterns to trace and cut papers from brown dot and dark tan papers, then glue onto the inside panels, as shown. Cut the center panel piece from floral paper and mat on black cardstock with a 1/16” border. Tie wide purple crepe ribbon around the base with a bow on the left and glue centered on the center panel.
3. Create the “Choose to Shine” sentiment in the same way as the greetings and foam tape in place with the remaining butterflies, as shown. Stamp and emboss the large doll onto Silky papers. Color in with the pens, avoiding the embossed lines (use a q-tip to remove the coloring from the embossing if necessary). Cut out the doll with a 1/16” border and foam tape in place, as shown.
