Instructions: The Alcohol Blender pen creates a transparent watercolor look on the Foiled Fancies when coloring with Spectrum Noir pens. Place your blank card with the fold at the left. Cover the card with Steampunk teal textured paper. Cut a 4 1/2"x6” yellow gold/brown gears/swirls corner paper with a large swirl motif on the lower left corner. Ink the edges dark brown. Mat the bottom and left side on Steampunk rust textured paper with 1/4" borders. Glue on the card, even with the top and right side. Ink the edges of the card dark brown. Add Black Thin Lines Dazzles™ on the edges of the rust paper. Cut the Foiled Fancies hot air balloon, 1 3/8” butterfly, 1”, 7/8”, and 1/2" gears, and the heart from the connected sheet. Use the EB4 Spectrum Noir pen to color the brown areas of the Foiled Fancies, then use the Alcohol Blender pen to blend the color. Use the TB8 pen to color the blue areas on the Foiled Fancies. Use the Black SurfaceZ ink pad to stamp the large swirl across the top of the hot air balloon. Place a piece of scrap paper over the middle of the hot air balloon and use the side of a pencil lead to make a “rubbing” of the embossed area across the middle of the hot air balloon. Remove the paper and trim along the scalloped edge to create a mask for the hot air balloon, above the scallop. With the mask in place, stamp the script image across the middle of the hot air balloon as shown. Stamp the script image across the butterfly. Stamp across the 1” gear with the text image. Stamp the tiny post mark image centered on the 1/2" gear. Stamp the text image on the left side of the heart. Stamp “Best wishes” on the right side of the card, 2 3/4" from the bottom with black ink. Foam tape the Foiled Fancies in place as shown. Add Black Thin Lines Dazzles™ across the center of the hot air balloon as shown. Add Copper Jewel Dazzles on the background. Use 1/2" wide rust twill to tie a bow. Zot™ the bow on the upper left corner of the card. Inside: Cut a 5”x2 1/2" yellow gold/brown gears/swirls corner paper with a small motif on the lower left corner. Mat the top edge on teal textured paper and the bottom on rust textured paper with 1/8” borders. Glue centered across the inside. Add Black Thin Lines Dazzles™ at the edges of the papers as shown. Stamp “Happy Birthday” on the left side of the yellow gold paper. Glue the Foiled Fancies heart near the words as shown. Zot™ knotted twill in place. Supplies:
