Instructions: Place your blank card with the fold at the top. Cut a 6 1/2"x5” rectangle from the bottom left corner of the Steampunk butterfly/swirls corner paper and place it on your cutting mat. Use your knife to cut around the right side of the blue and ivory swirls. Use the template to trace a Victorian Frame shape onto Steampunk ivory textured paper. Cut it out and mat it on Steampunk rust textured paper with 1/16” borders. Cut the Foiled Fancies gears and small butterflies from the connected sheet. Use a cosmetic sponge to apply FlitterGlu in a few areas on the surface of the 2 3/4" and 2” gears. Add Mulled Wine Gilding Flakes and press into the glue. Use the scoochy foam to remove the excess. Apply FlitterGlu to the entire surface of a 1 1/4" gear, cover with gilding flakes and remove the excess. Use your knife to add FlitterGlu to the bodies of the butterflies and add gilding flakes. Lift the cut swirl area of the paper and tuck the matted label beneath it. Back the gears with open centers on teal textured paper. Place the large gear on the label, tucking it beneath the edges of the swirls. Layer a 1 5/8” gear with the edge beneath the large gear, then foam tape the 1 1/4" gilded gear centered on it. Add a 1 1/2" beneath the upper left edge of the label. Glue all pieces in place. Glue the cut swirl edges overlapping the other elements. Foam tape a tiny gear and 2 butterflies as shown. Glue the rectangle even with the card front. Apply FlitterGlu to the outer edges of the card and add the gilding flakes. Remove the excess. Use 2 lengths of 1/8” wide rust grosgrain ribbon to tie a bow. Zot™ the bow on the card as shown. Place Dazzles™ “Thank You” near the bottom of the card. Inside: Cut a 6 1/2"x3” brown/teal collage portion from remaining butterfly/swirls corner paper and glue it even with the bottom of the card. Add sentiment, gears and butterfly Foiled Fancies as shown. Zot™ knotted ribbon in place.
