Designer's Tip: I love how the burlap blossoms and butterflies add texture and dimension to this page.
- Background: Use the "Simply Wonderful" paper as your background.
- Photos: Use sandpaper to sand the edges of a 3 3/4" x 4 1/2" photo. Mat on green pattern with a 1/16" border. Mat a second time on pink, with a 1/8" border. Glue to page centered as shown. Sand the edges of a 4" x 4 1/2" photo and mat on pink with a 1/16" border. Mat again on green with a 1/8" border. Glue to the lower right corner, slightly overlapping the center photo. Punch out the window die-cut and find a photo that will work behind it. Cut the photo to 2 3/4" x 4 1/4" and glue the die cut on top. Glue the window in the upper right, slightly overlapping the center photo as shown.
- Journaling: Punch out the blank vertical frame shape and print a caption on it using computer journaling. To "computer journal": Print out a small caption on a regular white sheet of paper and make sure it will fit on your label. Hold your sheet up to a light source and place the label on top of the text, centering as best as you can. Use rolled pieces of clear tape on the back of your label to adhere it (lightly) to your paper. Run it through your printer a second time. The text should now be printed on your label. After printing your caption on the vertical label, glue to the page overlapping the bottom right corner of the window as shown. Computer journal onto the small die-cut blank tag. Glue a small die-cut heart over the hole in the tag and glue to the page overlapping the right side of the bottom right photo as shown.
- Embellishments: Glue the large die-cut house in the bottom left corner as shown. Glue a white berry cluster in the bottom left corner to look like a little tree, as shown. Glue three small pink burlap blossoms on the white picket fence as shown. Glue a small heart to the door. Glue a large blue die-cut butterfly overlapping the top left of the center photo as shown. Glue the medium and small blue die-cut butterflies to the upper right of the window as shown. Glue a pink burlap butterfly overlapping the upper left of the window. Glue the brown die-cut flourish overlapping the top left corner of the bottom right photo.
