Designer Tip: Cut a 9½”x5½” white cardstock. Score at 2¾” and 7” from the left. Cover the right and left panel with a 2¾”x5½” The Sweet Life brown dot paper. Glue a 2¾”x¾” The Sweet Life stripe paper on the bottom of each panel. Glue a 2¾”x1/2” The Sweet Life stripe paper on the top of each panel. Stamp both of the elephant images in black on The Sweet Life teal paper. Color the images with Spectrum Noir pens. Cut close to the stamped edge of the right facing elephant, leaving the bottom portion uncut. Place on the right edge of the left card panel, placing the “L” on the stamp on the bottom right corner of the card. Place glue on the back of the elephant, leaving the bottom section unglued, and glue in place. Trim the bottom after it is glued. Place the cutting die at the top of the elephant, matching the lines of the stamped image and cut through all layers. Cut out the left facing elephant, leaving the bottom portion intact. Place on the left edge of the right panel, and match the “L” with the bottom left corner. Glue the elephant in place, leaving the bottom portion unglued. Trim the bottom away. Place the cutting die at the top, matching the lines of the stamp. Cut through all layers. Cover the inside with The Sweet Life orange paper. Stamp the sentiment on white cardstock, and glue so it can be seen through the cut away heart. Supplies: |
