Designer's Tip: You can anchor the stencils down with a light touch of a glue stick before misting, but don’t leave stencil down too long or it will not want to come off.
Instructions
- Place your gift bag in front of you with the handle at the top. Cut an 8”x4 1/2” dark brown paper and tear the top edge off at an angle. Place at the bottom of your bag. Place a 7”x9” lace border paper on cardstock with the scrollwork art at the upper left corner. Trim cardstock to fit. Cut a 7”x4 1/2” dot paper and tear the top edge off at an angle. Place at the bottom of the cardstock.
- Set your cardstock on a craft sheet and set the reindeer stencil near upper right hand corner. Set the tree line stencil 1” from lower edge. You can anchor the stencils with a light touch of a glue stick, but don’t leave stencil down too long. Mist all over the paper with walnut ink spray, concentrating on the stencil areas, but not completely saturating with color. Remove stencils carefully and let dry. Glue cardstock to the bag, leaving a 1/2” edge all around. Place border Dazzles™ at bottom of tree line and small star Dazzles™ on tree tops and reindeer’s nose.
- Using template, trace squared oval label “A” and squared oval label “B” on a piece of cardstock. Hold tree trio stencil over label “A” and sponge brown ink around stencil. Use reindeer stencil for label “B” the same way. Stamp the flying reindeer image on label “A”, and “Magical” on label “B”. Cut out labels and mat on dark brown with 1/8” and 1/16” borders. Apply star Dazzles™ as shown. Foam tape small label over a folded 5” length of ribbon, at lower corner. Punch a hole at top of large label. Thread an 18” length of ribbon through hole and around handle of bag. Tie a ribbon.
